A THOUGHT BORN AFTER THE RAIN
One rainy day, the clouds opened and a rainbow appeared. It brought to mind the story of Noah, the flood, and a promise placed across the sky for every generation to remember.
In the book of Genesis, Noah and his family stepped from the ark after the floodwaters receded. God established a covenant with Noah, his descendants, and every living creature.
The rainbow became the sign of that covenant: the earth would never again be destroyed by a flood of that kind. It is a symbol of mercy, remembrance, and hope after judgment and hardship.
A rainbow forms when sunlight enters raindrops, bends, reflects, and separates into many colors. Nature supplies the physics, while faith gives the sight a deeper layer of meaning.
After darkness, rain, and thunder, color appears. The storm is not the final word. The rainbow becomes a bridge between what has passed and what may still be possible.

When the rain passes and a rainbow rises, pause for a moment. Remember that storms can leave marks without owning the future. Remember the ark, the covenant, and the ancient promise carried in the colors above us.
